All pre-job design and performance evaluation is conducted through Delphian’s ProBallistics™ process.
Using this technical governance and application engineering process we have created the ability to tailor the system specifically to the proposed reservoir. The objective is first to conduct an appropriate level screening to assess the intended application, ensuring TriStim® is appropriate for both well and reservoir conditions.
The engineering process adopts a parametric analysis approach, giving a “probability” output to the modelling results, which gives a better account the associated outcomes for input data uncertainties, specifically where reservoir input data is concerned.

Following “screening” an evaluation of the expected TriStim® performance envelope is conducted to provide a performance estimate for the TriStim gun system, while also governing the general gun design requirements when applied specifically to the intended wells.
ProBallistics™ sets the configuration of the angles of convergence to ensure an optimized perforation based on the specific characteristics of the wellbore and reservoir.
